The PencilBox VC competition welcomes a wide range of business ideas, including innovative products, services, and social impact initiatives. Participants are encouraged to showcase their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.

The hybrid round of the PencilBox VC competition in Mumbai will offer participants the option to join either in person or through Zoom. This setup allows for flexibility and ensures that all participants can engage in the competition regardless of their location. However, Mumbai students must join us offline.

The PencilBox VC competition is open to high school students from grades 9 to 12. Participants must be currently enrolled in a high school and fall within the specified grade range to take part in the competition.

For the first round of the PencilBox VC competition, participants are required to submit a business plan consisting of 7 slides. The plan must cover all the essential elements detailed on the deliverables slide, ensuring a comprehensive presentation of their business idea.

Mentors at PencilBox VC will be industry professionals who provide guidance and mentorship to individuals pitching business ideas. They will guide the Top 3 teams to improve different aspects of their business and their pitch to help them be the best of the three.
