About The Competition
PencilBox VC is a platform for young entrepreneurs to pitch their businesses and gain invaluable experiences and insights into building a sustainable business. Participants will interact with industry professionals, receive feedback, and, if they reach the top three, receive a grant.
Deliverables and Timelines

Business Plan Submission
Due 28/02/2025 (11:59pm)
In the first round, participants are required to submit their business proposals through the official website. The PencilBox VC team will carefully review each proposal to evaluate its feasibility and potential for success. Once the review process is complete, the teams whose ideas meet the criteria will be shortlisted. These selected teams will then receive a notification via email from the PencilBox team, providing further instructions and next steps.

Pitching and Selection Round
29/03/2025
The second round is a hybrid presentation (from Mumbai), where each team will pitch their proposal to a panel of 3-5 judges, who will offer valuable feedback and evaluations. While the judges deliberate, participants can attend talks by industry experts. At the end of this round, the top five teams will be announced. These teams will receive mentorship to refine their strategies, enhance their financial planning, and develop a clear roadmap for their projects. There will also be small prizes for different categories at the event

Final Round
01/08/2025
In the final round, the top teams will present their progress and refined strategies to the judges. The judges will evaluate each team based on criteria like the feasibility of their idea, the progress made, and the team's commitment. Based on these assessments, the judges will rank the teams, awarding grants to the highest performers.
